Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy I have a firm 24-Hour Cancellation Policy. I value and respect your time and will make every effort to seeing you at your next appointment. Unlike GP’s, Counsellors only book in 4-6 appointments per day. Additionally, I pay rent for my counselling space in Burleigh Heads. Therefore, it is essential that my clients commit to attending all scheduled appointments. You can cancel or change your appointment anytime as long as you give me a 24-hour notice. Please call me on 0466 193 355 to cancel or change your appointment, please do not text or email me. This policy is essential because it allows me time to try to fill your appointment. If you do not provide a 24-hour notice, you will be charged the full session fee. This includes no shows and same day appointments. The only exception to this cancellation policy is if there is an emergency such as a car accident, death in the family or extreme illness. Work emergencies or traffic do you constitute emergencies. In the event of heavy rain or prohibitive weather, we can conduct the session on Zoom or the phone. For couples counselling, if both parties cannot attend, consider having one come alone instead of cancellation altogether. All appointments including Zoom or phone sessions are to be paid upfront.
